Mohammed abdul wahhab was not a naasibi.
The ‘father of the Wahhabis’ and his attitude towards the Ahlul-Bayt (peace be upon them)
The biggest Shia bogeyman of our modern time must be Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdel-Wahhab and his Da’wah. The Shaykh – like every other scholar – was a mere fallible man and received his share of fair criticism, but some of his die-hard enemies, like the Quburi Pseudo-Sufis and the Rafidah went into extremes in their criticism (some even accused him of claiming Prophethood!) and have demonised beyond recognition.
Of course, it is claimed by Shias that Shaykh ibn Abdel-Wahhab (and the ‘Wahhabi-Salafis’) was a vicious Nasibi who hated the Ahlul-Bayt with a passion. I myself was brainwashed with such lies. The problem is that most people do not do any research.
Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdel-Wahhab (may Allah have mercy on him) never uttered a single bad word about the Ahlul-Bayt, on the contrary, he praised them on numerous occasions and in his books. Like all other Sunni-Salafi scholars he emphasised that loving the Ahlul-Bayt is an integral part of Sunni-Salafi creed, it always has been.
Shiites are not told that that Muhammad ibn Abdel-Wahhab loved the Ahlul-Bayt so much that he named his eldest son Ali. He also had two other sons whom he named al-Hasan and al-Husayn, and one daughter whom he named Fatimah. (Durar al-Saniya 12/19).
His kunya (nickname) was Abu al-Hasan, the father of Ali, because Arabs call their sons the names they like, if they like a person, then they call their children the name of the person they like.
This man literally named his children after the Ahlul-Kisa` but as we know, If it is not Ghuluw (exaggeration) then the Rafidah want nothing to do with it and it bores them, their scholars even demonise Sunni academics as ‘Wahhabis’ who write in praise of Ahlul-Bayt. So expect everything from these Qommite Ghulat and false claimants of Ahlul-Bayt.
The Shaykh wrote some excellent books that are widely available in English, however, the following two gems haven’t been translated yet (I encourage every Arabic reader to download them and study them):
1. Risalah fi Rad ala al-Rafidah
رسالة في الرد على الرافضة للإمام محمد بن عبد الوهاب
‘A treatise in rebuttal to Rafidah by Imam Muhammad ibn Abdel-Wahhab’
2. Muhammad ibn Abdel-Wahhab wa A`immah al-Da’wah al-Najdiyyah wa Mawqifuhum min Aal al-Bayt
محمد بن عبد الوهاب وأئمة الدعوة النجدية وموقفهم من آل البيت
‘Muhammad ibn Abdel-Wahhab and the Imams of the Najdi Da’wah and their stance towards the Aal al-Bayt’
This book is compiled by Shaykh Khalid ibn Ahmad al-Zahrani, a Salafi scholar who compiled all the statements of Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdel-Wahhab and the rest of the Imams of the Najdi Da’wah in praise of the Ahlul-Bayt.
The book includes beautiful statements of Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdel-Wahhab in praise of Ahlul-Bayt. He praises Ali, Fatimah, and refers to al-Husayn as a pious martyr whose tragedy has been afflicted by the Rafidah Shia and the Nawasib, both heretics whom he harshly rebukes and criticises and declares as principle enemies of Ahlus-Sunnah.
And that’s not it. ‘Wahhabi Nasibis’ also like to give lectures in praise of the Ahlul-Bayt, educating the masses and instilling the love of Ahlul-Bayt in their hearts.
