Is Azaan disrespectful to other faith The Athan (or Adhan), which is the Islamic call to prayer, is primarily a religious practice intended for Muslims. It serves as a reminder for the faithful to perform their prayers and is a declaration of the oneness of Allah and the prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him). The question of whether the Athan is disrespectful to other faiths can be examined from several angles: 1. Intent and Purpose The primary purpose of the Athan is to invite Muslims to prayer and to express their faith. It is not intended to offend or disrespect individuals of other religions. In Islam, respect for all people, regardless of their beliefs, is a fundamental principle. The Quran encourages Muslims to call others to the way of Allah with wisdom and good instruction Quran 16:125. 2. Cultural Context In many Muslim-majority countries, the sound of the Athan is a familiar p...

There are no more women than Men in hell

Saaiduna Ibn Abbas Radiallahu Anhu narrates that the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam said: “I was shown the Hell-fire and that the majority of its dwellers were women who were ungrateful.” It was asked, “Do they disbelieve in Allah?” or are they ungrateful to Allah? He replied, “They are ungrateful to their husbands and are ungrateful for the favours and the good done to them. If you have always been good to one of them (your wives) and then she sees something in you, she will say, ‘I have never received any good from you.” (Sahih Bukhari p.9 v.1) The wordings of this hadith tell us that there will be more women in Hell than men. However it should be understood that the hadith does not say that they will go to hell for being women, it actually points out that these women because of their ungratefulness are more likely to be in Hell. The hadith in fact is pointing out a shortcoming or a wrong of theirs. However, in another hadith we can derive that there will be in fact more w...

Hadeeth does not permit umm al walad

Selling an Umm Walad (a slave who has given birth to a child of her owner) is not permitted according to the vast majority of the jurists. This includes the madhab of the sahaba such as Umar, Usman, Ali (one or earlier opinion), Ibn Abbas (one report), Aisha, Ibn Masud. And this is the view of the four Sunni madhabs: Malikis, Hanafis, Shafi'is and Hanbalis. You are most likely only aware of this madhab since it is the predominant opinion. The evidence for this madhab includes among other things the following hadith: نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن بيع أمهات الأولاد , لا يبعن ولا يوهبن ولا يورثن , يستمتع بها سيدها ما بدا له فإذا مات فهي حرة The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the sale of the (slave) mothers of one's children, they can not be sold, nor gifted, nor inherited. The master will make use of her while he is alive and when he dies she shall be free. — Sunan al-Daraqutni Nevertheless there is minority opinion that holds their sale as permitted. This has been reported fr...

Refuting the false claim that islam is not peaceful.

The Jews say, “Ezra is the son of Allah,” while the Christians say, “The Messiah is the son of Allah.” Such are their baseless assertions, only parroting the words of earlier disbelievers. May Allah condemn them! How can they be deluded ˹from the truth˺?( where is call of violence given in this verse)

Refuting the false claim islam is not peaceful

So when you meet the disbelievers ˹in battle˺, strike ˹their˺ necks until you have thoroughly subdued them, then bind them firmly. Later ˹free them either as˺ an act of grace or by ransom until the war comes to an end. So will it be. Had Allah willed, He ˹Himself˺ could have inflicted punishment on them. But He does ˹this only to˺ test some of you by means of others. And those who are martyred in the cause of Allah,1 He will never render their deeds void.

Refuting the false claim islam is not peaceful

These are two opposing groups that disagree about their Lord: as for the disbelievers, garments of Fire will be cut out for them and boiling water will be poured over their heads.(This is related to hereafter)

Refuting the false claim that islam is not peaceful

Quran 9:117 – Allah has already forgiven the Prophet and the Emigrants and the Helpers who followed him in the hour of difficulty after the hearts of a party of them had almost inclined [to doubt], and then He forgave them. Indeed, He was to them Kind and Merciful. Quran 9:118 – And [He also forgave] the three who were left behind [and regretted their error] to the point that the earth closed in on them in spite of its vastness and their souls confined them and they were certain that there is no refuge from Allah except in Him. Then He turned to them so they could repent. Indeed, Allah is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful. Quran 9:119 – O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with those who are true. Quran 9:120 – It was not [proper] for the people of Medina and those surrounding them of the Bedouins that they remain behind after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah or that they prefer themselves over his self. That is because they are not afflicted by thirst or fatigue...
